Dave started a band in his basement in 1976 that would later become Stage Right. Ed was there ,but what became of the other members? They split in 1979 to form a tribute to Lobo band. They still tour the U.S. and parts of Alabama. As for Dave's first agent that said his band would play corner bars forever; HAH, who's laughing now? HAH indeed. P.S. Any resemblence to Dusty Hill is coincidental.
Ed's role in the Silver Creek Band stood out possibly because he was the only one in the band who could actually play their instrument. If you wanted to strike-up a conversation with Ed at a gig, might I suggest the following categories: - Fast cars - Fast planes - Old, campy, b & w science fiction thrillers - John Entwistle Do not get on the stage in front of Ed, or he WILL get out his chain saw .
Because of Bob's ability and track record, the band tried to really "step up " their game a bit. After all , he's played with Leon Russell on Leterman for cryin' out loud! He's also a veteran of the house band for the Barnstable-Brown Derby Eve Gala. He's backed up legends from George Strait to Stevie Nicks to Kid Rock. That's right, THE Kid Rock. He's also played more games at Louisville Slugger Field than anyone.
When Barry joined the band, our sphincters were at an all time tight. He was Jimi Hendrix's replacement in The Band of Gypsys!(see editor's note).
He also played Carnegie Hall with The Charlie Daniel's Band. As it turned out, this was Barry's last gig with the cowboy hat wearin', fast fiddlin' good ole boy from Tennessee.
