So many friends at Tim's procession and show at the Vernon. Barry and Bob...you guys are great. We will miss Tim. I was happy to meet Marshall Chapman. She posted a wonderful photo album of Tim.

Tim has gone on...but his memory won't The Dalai Lama has said  "Remember me in smiles and laughter....if you remember me in tears please do not remember me at all"  Tim....we splint a gig at the Old Steves Ky Pub when he was fronting the Louisville Sluggers" a very talented and regular fellow...much love and much peace to his family

I have got some good news. Those who should know already know. Good to hear that the music still rox on. If you get the occasional asshole in the crowd...perhaps you can take my tack.....I am a hippie up until the time you really fuck with me....then this hippie is gonna kick your ass in good....actually this is a page out of the "Tao of Chick"......but I thought is was a good way to go...no need to let some fool mess up a good time. The local music hear kinda sux....lotsa banging loud guitars and screaming but really not much music. I worked Elvis Costello at Koka Booth Amphitheatre in Raleigh...a great show.....this guy just is the best with lyrics...and the music never shabby either. Last week I did a 4 day gig with the Bolshoi Ballet at Memorial Auditorium here at UNC.....a total blowaway........Hot Tuna Electric comes here again 9/1 and that is gonna be my birfday present. I found out the reason Hot Tuna is coming through so many times is that they have formed a friendship with Doc Watson, so they bump and run with him....thats about it freinds....Keep on Truckin!!!!!!
