Hey,
Hopefully, we'll be getting pictures back up on the site tout de suite, just as soon as we find another source of pix. If anybody has any ideas, please let me know; I know Greg Knight has a lot of older stuff (but he hasn't signed in here lately), & somebody somewhere has all of Don Aters stuff, so there's quite a respectable stockpile of imagery out there just waiting to be exploited.
Anybody else with pix can just send them to me at the address above (just replace the AT) & I'll make sure they all get up where everybody can see them.

i cannot believe that after all these years, all it takes to remove all the pix from this cite is a little intrameral dodge ball. Where are the adults?
Hey,
Sounds like you all might be having a spot of snow in the 'ville... I hope you're all finding some way to keep warm!
I just wanted to check in & see if there's anything I need to add to the February schedule..

i am incredibly cheap as everyone knows. i asked my mom to split the cost of her birthday dinner and present. she slapped me, but only with one hand(we all know the sound of one hand slapping but what is....)
Annette, Let me guess, Tom sprung for the phone that doesn't ring to save money. He once bought a watch with only one hand. 'Quarter after somethin'' I can hear him say.
It was terrifying. I thought I was headed for the eternal bliss of paradise.
update from the browning front:
home phone is now working but the phone we have is from goodwill and doesn't ring. cell phones are working and i just saw 2 utility trucks from pennsylvania on our road so maybe, just maybe we will have power very soon! and some super nice people we know are loaning us a generator so at least we will have some conveniences, perhaps even hot coffee or internet????? dare i dream???
hope all you guys are warm and well.

Hey,
Cheeks, if you're reading this, I got your forum message & complied with your request as well as I was able - all your pictures have been removed from the site, & I've also taken off the guestbook entries that you signed & removed you as a member.
Now I have a request for you:
Please don't write in the guestbook again, anonymously or otherwise.
Quite a few people who don't live in Louisville any more use this guestbook to keep up with their old friends, & I'm asking you as a personal favor to not screw that up for us - please don't use this space to wage your personal vendetta.
I'd suggest that you get an email address & contact people directly if you have a problem with them - that's only proper etiquette, & something I wish I could have done instead of having to post this message here.
I'm sorry it's come down to this - I really had a lot of fun putting this all together with you.
Peace on you
Randy
I would have already logged off, but I like Bent on Hell too much
Guy, You should keep a journal of all the shows you work. And recollections of past shows. But I know it's easier to think of,than to do.
I got a very sad phone call tonight, and it is my sad duty to let you all know that Greg Land, who was always a very fine friend to me as well as one of my musical codependents, died today, quite possibly of a heart attack. I shall miss him deeply with all my heart and wish I could be down there to commiserate with all the others who loved him as I did. I am sure the liquor is flowing freely at Buckhead's tonight. Goodbye, ol' pard...
one of my students brought in a tune from that show (rent) and its very good. great song.
Remember the Byrd's song "Rock and Roll Star" a line about selling "Plastic wares".....well I dont think its that deep here...what is your label....Bill Murry's "PolySutra" Records? I think it is all good listening. as far as followers....it kinda goes like "Gee Ma', Can I be different like everyone else".......my mantra for years....ya know sometimes normal is different. A clean windshield, a fresh cup of coffee and a loose pair of shoes...if cha' know what i mean
I have also been working the Broadway production of "Rent" here all week....two matinees on sat-sun then a 8 T-T out......good bux....Donna is going to sats show...... The Guymeister
Bro Man,
The scroller looks great. Wish us luck Sunday for the more MERCHANDISE we sell, the more copies of the CD we can GIVE AWAY. I believe it has been made abundantly clear over and over again on this site and at the gigs(of course if u dont go to gigs how would you know) that the more MERCHANDISE we sell the more CD's we can GIVE AWAY to people. It appears that Mr Un informed also has wax in the ears and vaseline over the eyes. Probably a frustrated and defeated conservative. Oh well. All is well in the world of the Pranksters my man.
Barry and I are even co-writing a song.....lol.
BTW I am not a crumudgeon....just a grumpy old guy.

Dear uninformed,
If you were speaking to me, my head still fits quite nicely up my ass, thank you very much, actually much more smoothly since I've shaved it recently...
If however, you were speaking to the wiz, I'm afraid I can't answer for him...or her, as the case may be...seems to me the wiz was just trying to recoup the expenses on slikscreening CDs, not actually doing anything as vulgar trying to "sell" music...
Course I might be wrong...
You just told everybody that you're selling the music set from the
Brown. That's a REALLY un-informed thing to do.(Does your head
still fit up your rectum? )
