Celebration of the Life and Friends of Steve Ferguson

This is a call out to any and all of you who are friends and fans of brother Steve.

We are having a show in his honor and you are all invited.

It is going to be on Sunday Oct. 12th at 2:00 pm at the Eagles Club 201 Outer Loop here in the southwest part of town. It will be outside weather permitting or inside if not. Lots of room with plenty of room for parking. There will be bands playing , food , etc., etc....

If you want to play... then we want you to play (if at all possible)

You need to P.M. or call me so I can get this organized by Friday morning so we can get the fliers and posters printed.

my home phone is : (502) 995-7109 IF YOU WANT TO PLAY CALL ME!

Mom's Music, Steilberg Strings and a few other folks are going to donate guitars ,etc.
to be auctioned. Tom Kent will be supplying P.A. and crew.

Greg Martin (Kentucky Headhunters), Tim Kreckle and TKO, Uncle Pecos and The Holt Brothers (formerly Leslie's Motel) are on board.... Karl Shannon is going to try and make it.....But we need you too! How about it Wayne Young ??.... The Merry Prancksters??... Lamont Gillispie & 100 Proof ??... Witchata??? ... Gordon Ray ???... you know I can go on and on....????? and I will... I'm not tired or proud!

Come on out and we'll put something together for our friend... we've all stole licks from him and everybody else ... it's pay back time... just bring your personal equipment... all else provided.

Steve is going to try and play if he's able....
Really , please make this one OK??

Mike Owens"

Hey,

Sorry to hear about the Dark Star...

Maybe you guys ought to think about moving church to a, well, church, since all the more humid venues in Louisville seem to be going the way of the sheepskin condom...

& thanks for the new title ;o)

Ahoy, mateys,

Arrrrgggghhhh - I missed international talk like a pirate day!!!

Please excuse my relative absence from the scene for the past couple of weeks, but the guy I work for has this strange notion that since he's paying me, I actually ought to do something productive from time to time (those agressive capitalists are a strange breed...).
So I finshed my company's website; I'd be really happy if everybody could take the time to click this link to take a look - I want to get my visits up!!!

I've updated the "monthly" newsletter on the home page, changed the address of Rico's AOL hometown , & added an above the fold nudge about the new semi-steady gig for the old Jockamo's band at Longshots - and it's only 9:00 in the morning!!! I have a feeling this si going to be another long one...

Hope everyone is well

Peace out (do pirates say that?)

Cheeks that's a great pic of RD!  and your right, he does deserve a handful of Mcguyer points for his ingenuity.  Nice coffee cup by the way.  Who would have pegged Rd as an ABBA fan?  I wonder when he'll bust out "Dancing Queen" on a Sunday night.
