hey,
in honor of anniversaries (one-year of the finest website on earth, & Guy's birthday), I've added all the music I could find from Pranksters past & present.
We now have 27 tunes on the music player; lots of Tom Browning in various guises, McHenry, Miller & Young, & of course the current Pranksters ... what we DON'T have is anything by Bob, Barry or Rico.
So if anybody has any old Mp3s laying around, mail them to me & I'll get them up.

I am very happy that ToeJam went off so well and I hope it was a fun gig for you folks...and I hope it was a good ole' fashioned circle- the- hippie- wagons and see lots of folks.
Yeah....49...whood a thunk it....I remember being 22 and coming to see you folks in various combinations at "The Chubby Pussy"......long hair and driving my VW microbus. But I am happy as hell. The general still gets up and salutes every morning. I love North Carolina and I wish you would come here....but nothing can compare to the full-on culture shock of Moving from Long Island, New York To Louisville Ky. the first year of forced busing. But also nothing can compare to the levels of musicianship......the many facets....of music in KY. From Dick Sisto (still one of my faves...go see him at The Seelbach) to the great Jimmy Raney and all Pranksters involved..(great musicians and just regular great dudes)
and a very big shout out to Heir Tom Browning...who in one lesson took me from thinking that all I could do was wank out primary chords to thinking....practice....play.....learn from your mistakes....practice....play. I may not play the fastest...but I can jerk more emotion out of one note...ala BB King and Freddie King.
So a merry repast to all. I am still figuring how to post Roger Millers "Do-Wacka-Do-Wacka-Do"
I want to thank everyone for their participation in the TOEJAM. We dont have all the expenses ironed out but it is looking like we will be adding 1000-1500 dollars to the fund! In the winter i will have some actual security at the back driveway to cut down on sneak-ins.......but most of the were poor patchouli-ridden hippie urchins who just wanted to hang out..............i figure they just made the crowd look fatter for folks coming in. So now is time to turn to Nov. 7th and really kick ass at that 1964 show.

happy 49th anniversary of your birthday guy. tired of your 40's? no doubt. excited about your 50's? no worries mate. in just one year you too can enjoy the wonderful 50s where paradise awaits you. no more boring angst, like in the 20s, or the pain -in-the-ass self importance and indulgence of the 30s. yes guy this is your momment. (i hear 49 is the new 50). so pick up your guitar and play a few tunes and tune in to the only reality: scales and arpeggios!
Please be advised that we were prepared to sue the Allman Brothers for copyright infringement and we will certainly not hesitate to SUE YOUR ASS!!!!!!!!!!!!
