But the son of one of Drag Racings legends, Connie Kallitta... and an up and coming Funny Car and Top Fuel legend in his own right...Scott Kalitta dies in his Funny car at 48... the risks in Drag Racing are high, so he went doing what he loved....he was clocked at 341mph during this run

Hey folks...I guess you have heard of the passing of George Carlin at age 71. Does anybody even make comedy albums anymore? Am and FM? Class Clown? Or my under-the radar fav "Toledo Window Box". And the older he got the more topical, telling the truth through comedy and continuing his "If you dont like it, kiss my ass attitude.

I think the first amendment shed a little tear when it heard ole' George had gone.....in the words of G.C...."You can prick your finger, but you cant finger your prick!"ok? now somebody post those famous seven words!

Southside Johnny was fuckin great!!!! Some lackluster solo that reminded me of Tighe McBride opened the show...Southside Johnny kicked ass...then Lil Feat...was pretty good. We left before the end of the show, though. They were playing cover tunes and my heart couldnt take it. Paul Barrerre (sp?) and Bill Payne were fabulous, but the whole sound...I dunno...the chick had a bad haircut, too.

I dont know where...but somewhere in Prankster lore I think I have heard you guys say that the worst gig you have ever split a bill with was Commander Cody...or was that DR. Hook...but I think it was CC. Oh that Fat Cats...a great place...but...so poorly managed even a caveman could do it(if the caveman was not taking 3/4 of the business up their noses) So what is up guyz...I am hot for some Louisville music news! I want to come to town in the early fall, but I dont wanna have 2 stay at Motel 6...even Holiday Inn midtown would be a bit pricey for me(talking 3 to 7 days) so who knows.... if it was 20 years ago I just would have brought my tent and slept in Cherokee Park...Chick.... how was Southside Johnny? One of my Fav quotes from him... "Yeah for my home soundsystem I run a BSR belt-drive turntable through my Fender Twin....all the volume you want and the turntable makes a great rumble.
